The Collins Reversal

Okay, here's the story, as told by my father:

In late March/early April I e-mailed Senator Collins expressing my concern about the flood of illegals entering our country. As you can see by the letter, she wrote back agreeing with me and saying that "First, we need to secure our borders" Again another politician telling us what we want to hear, then voting the opposite way. Almost every poll has 70 to 80% of the citizens saying that they want the borders secured, and still ignore what we want.
Here's a copy of the response he received.

As you can see from this post by Michelle Malkin, when given a chance to vote on a proposal to actually "secure the borders," as she stated, Collins did not.

Perhaps Maine residents can contact Senator Collins and ask her for a 'clarification' of her position on this issue. Let's see if she can come up with yet another position to take.
