Spent

I apologize for the lack of blogging today. At the moment, however, I am spent. As I've mentioned previously, my wife and I help out with the youth group at our church. Sunday afternoon, a teen who was a friend of many of those in our group - he'd just started attending himself - died in a car accident.

We visited with some of the kids on Sunday night, and tonight during the regular youth group meeting. I'm not a particularly emotional person, so providing that sort of support for others can be draining.

Dealing with this sort of tragedy makes me even more thankful for what I have, and especially for the new life my wife and I will meet in a few weeks. More blogging tomorrow.
