Don't know if I told you this Slub, my best buddy from high school, best man at my wedding, was the baby in his family.

His dad grew up in an Arizona border town. Flew fighters in the Navy in WWII.

They had a picture on the mantel, old black and white of a big bandelero wrapped sombrero wearin bandit, sitting on his horse with a little white kid in the saddle in front of him, looked like he was 5, eating a licorice stick.

The little boy was my friend's dad, Tom Nanney.

The bandito was Pancho Villa.

Every time Pancho and his boys rode into town the adults would hide, but the kids would flock to him, cause he always had treats for them.
