USPS Follies

Just got my mail.

And my neighbor's mail.

Included in the box was also the mail I wanted to send.

I hate it when my regular postal carrier is off for the day. The replacement guy stinks. I was sending out some time-sensitive stuff, so I called the post office to see if they'd send the guy back. No go.

All I could do was file an incident report. Big whoop. That won't do much to refund the gas it took to drive down to the post office and mail the letter that needs to get out today or the inconvenience of doing so. It's the little things that add up to make a day blah, isn't it?

On the other hand, if it were deregulated, who knows how much we'd be paying for stamps!
