My semi-retirement has been a blessing in disguse. Really. I have so much more time to work on real journalism. I'm practically an ink-stained wretch again. That anchor desk and the millions that came with it were like an albatross around my neck. I thought my former job was great, but this retirement thing? Fantastic.By the way, Bob Schieffer is a back-stabbing jerkoff.

Still no luck finding Lucy Ramirez. I've been to every rodeo in Texas, and I have to tell you, those things stink. I mean, you'd think I'd be used to the smell of crap by now, but it's really bad with all those cows and other animals around.I think Ramirez is probably in hiding, given how she was demonized by the far right shock troops of the internet. That Power Line blog is really a pain in the butt. Just wait until I find Lucy. Those lawyers are going to pay.

Yesterday, I went fishing. Because I'm a regular guy. Yup, I'm just like everyone else. Except I make millions of dollars.Fishing was fantastic. I had more fun than a long-tailed ferret in a room full of mice-flavored rocking chairs. It was better than sticking pins in a Bob Schieffer voodoo doll.
Not that I would do such a thing.
