Real Bangor, Hollywood Bangor
I'm watching USA's "The Dead Zone," and can't help but think that fans of the show who might visit the real Bangor would be disappointed. Bangor doesn't have any high-rise buildings, or fancy French restaurants with valet parking. Also, people in Bangor know how to pronounce "Piscataquis."
Still kind of a fun show, though.
