What's the Point?
What is it about election to the Senate that turns Republicans into spineless wimps?
Senator George Voinovich of Ohio has just halted the Bolton nomination.
Message to the G.O.P. - I got your fundraising letter today.
I threw it away.
Hope you enjoyed the millions you raised at the beginning of this year. It won't happen in the second quarter.
UPDATE - National Review reports that Bolton is losing GOP support. Why does the GOP controlled Senate keep handing defeats to the Bush administration?
If I were Karl Rove, I would start looking at primary challenges for some of these Republicans. It's time to start playing hardball with your own party. If you don't start denying them money, we will.
