Losing the Base
Hugh Hewitt understands the anger some of us feel at Senate Republicans, and writes about it in the Weekly Standard. Unless Senator Olympia Snowe takes steps to end the unconstitutional Democratic filibusters, I will not vote for her. Nor will I vote for Senator Susan Collins when she is up for re-election again.
This is an important issue being ignored by those who value comity over the constitution. Don't take our donations and votes for granted, or you'll lose. We worked for you because we believed you'd do the right thing. Were we wrong?
