Live-Blogging Idol, Again

Okay, enough serious stuff for one day. My guilty pleasure, "American Idol," is on.

Constantine - I hate to admit it, but that was pretty good. He has really got to stop flirting with the camera, though. And Paula should stop flirting with him. Shut up, Paula.

Carrie - MacArthur Park? That's the worst song ever recorded...twice. Terrible song choice. She's doing okay with it, but the song is so awful.

Scott - HATE...oh, wait...he hasn't started singing yet... Okay, he's started singing "Everlasting Love." Not as terrible as last week. What on earth is in Paula's cup? She's acting drunk. Simon is right about Scott...karaoke all the way. Scott obviously reads about himself, as he's trying to be more conciliatory this week. Still want him to go home, though.

Anthony - This guy is not my favorite. "Don't Take Away the Music." Ack. This really was a dark time in American music. He's doing well with the song, even if I'm not a big fan of his voice.

Vonzell - "I'm Every Woman." I'm growing fond of Vonzell. She's got a strong voice and manages to pick songs that compliment her voice. She's on tonight - great performance.

Anwar - "September." Let's hope Anwar pulls this out. He's the only person who can stop Scott. Ugh. So far, no good. He's flat and uninteresting. I think he's going home tomorrow, darn it.

Yup. Paula's drunk.

Bo - I've never heard of the song Bo is doing. I'm rooting for Bo, and he's doing pretty well with this song. The guy has some serious stage presence.

Best performance of the night: Bo
Worst: Anwar

Going home: I really, really want it to be Scott, but it's going to be Anwar.
