End of TSA?

Numerous conservative bloggers are excited about this story. At first glance, it does seem as though some in Washington do want to get rid of a large bureaucracy. I think, though, that Michelle Malkin has the best take on the story:

At the end of the day, we'll still be stuck with it.
I agree, and am reminded of the great words of Ronald Reagan:
"No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth."
