Fictional Characters Support Filibusters!

How pathetic is this?

The People for the American Way is using a fictional character from a classic movie to make the case for filibustering judicial nominees. I guess making an actual argument based on the Constitution was too hard.

In future commercials, the PFAW plans to use Mister Roberts to speak out against the Iraq war, Maximus to criticize government corruption, Dr. Strangelove to call for nuclear disarmament and Ash to warn us about the growing threat posed by evil zombies.
